A quick pre-print checklist
- The page size matches the size you're ordering.
- Backgrounds and edge photos extend into the bleed.
- Headlines, dates and contact details sit well inside the edge.
- Photos are at least 225–300 DPI at their printed size.
- All fonts are embedded.
- Colors are CMYK if your printer requires it; otherwise expect bright colors to shift slightly.

Questions
Does the check work for folded flyers and brochures?
It checks the PDF as flat pages: size, bleed, images, fonts and colors. It can't tell where the folds are, so compare your panels against your printer's template.
My flyer is mostly photos. What matters most?
Image resolution and bleed. Photos that run to the edge need bleed, and each photo should be around 300 DPI at the size it's printed.
Can I print a Letter-size flyer as A4?
The proportions differ slightly, so the printer will either crop or add white space. Design at the size you're ordering; the check shows the size it finds.
